I’ve invited Kara Lehmann over on the Mums with Hustle podcast to share with us the pivot she did in her business. She’s the owner of Beauty Boss VA and a member of my Social Method Society. Her online business is quite new. She started around March this year, at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.

She’s here today to share how she’s started a new way of serving her audience.

A Booked-out Business

Kara is a mum of 3 and she has spent the last 16 years in the beauty industry, navigating the salon business on her own. After her youngest child was born, she realised that returning to work in the salon environment was really not what she wanted to do anymore. It wasn’t serving her and it wasn’t serving her family. She then decided to create Beauty Boss VA.

Kara’s truly one powerhouse of resilience! She’s a living example that the number of your Instagram followers doesn’t matter as long as you have your soulmate followers – your ideal audience.

Through the years, she learnt what it meant to truly never give up, no matter what. She’s now killing it in her business with her mission to help more women train as virtual assistants, so like her, they can also work in the industry that they love.
