It’s almost the end of a financial year! So you could make strategic money-making decisions in your business and also start paying yourself consistently!

• Lisa’s top tips for a super smooth end of financial year:
  • 1) Keep your bookkeeping up to date (aim for weekly or a minimum of monthly).
  • 2) Call your accountant for a strategic tax planning review (ideally during May or early June).
  • 3) Do stocktake if you sell physical products and consider an end of financial year sale.
  • 4) If you have employees and you want their pay to be recognised as an expense for this current financial year, make sure you pay them before June 30.
